Alternatives to Traditional Tabling Ideas & Materials

I looked into yard signs and found that they are relatively cheap ( ~$10 apiece), but are made of plastic. Got me thinking about making our own signs, along the lines of the tiny libraries people have in their yards. It could have our 1/4 sheet flyers attached if we wanted to get fancy. It could just be a square or rectangle that we could staple a flyer to with our basic information. Do we have wood workers out there in our membership that might be interested in making signs? Thought of using our title grabber, You Care, Now What? (With a painted planet Earth), or Help Save Our Planet...... any thoughts?
