I along with many others concerned about the climate future may tend to paint an overly rosy view of a "clean energy" future. Better I (and we) be striving for an "accurate" view - at least as accurate as we can. Michael Moore has recently released a movie pointing toward some of the less rosy aspects of "green." It's Planet of the Humans. Full length movie available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk11vI-7czE
Looking forward to hearing what others think after watching the movie.
To add a little more fuel to the fire, or better yet, photons to the solar cell, check the Rocky Mountain Institute. It was founded by Amory Lovins, a well-known American physicist and writer. They are focused on renewable energy AND energy efficiency, and believe we can pull it all together in time, given our technologies and, of course, the political will. There is much to learn from them.
